I found Blazing Angels, got it for Christmas and I have been "flying" just about every day since. And I love vintage airplanes. Maybe if I did fly I'd have to do it standing up- I love this game and wish I could get more of my friends to take to it- When I get to elite level I will look for players online if my internet connection will keep up. I went over to a friend's house to play Wii Resort and "flew" for my first time. When I got home I immediately looked for a flying game about WW2 as my Dad and just about all his friends were involved in that war. I have not been a gamer before the Wii as I don't make a habit of sitting on my butt- I cannot sit during this game, and I don't know how you could- I feel like I am there.
Easier to get airborne than other flight simulators, but controls seem a little too sensitive. Training flight graphics are better than expected because of other reviews, but haven't tried combat yet. Still working on flying skills. Will take a lot more practice.
I really enjoy the theme, concept, and visuals of the game but the nunchuck controls have a tendency to need constant synchronizing for some reason.
Not even close to what I was looking for. Tried different controls etc same thing. Mine starts diving and will not pull up no matter what and crashes. This is my first on WII and probally my last. In a word it sucks. You have to hit all targets or start from scratch. I prefer the older PC flight games.
Unless you finish a mission without missing any targets, you fail and have to replay. That gets boring very quickly. Maybe I'm used to PC platform games but this one certainly does not measure up. So rather than working through a campaign with some losses, you end up in a perpetual "Groundhog Day".
